Due to the changes coming into effect on Friday 29th August 2025 for USA consumers, all orders will now be assessed on arrival into the USA by customs authorities and will have taxes due on them where it MAY have not been before - this is due to the tariff changes by the US Government. Deliveries may therefore be slower
UK Delivery
UK Orders under £30 will cost either £3.50 (2nd Class TRACKED) or £4.95 (1st Class TRACKED) - you can choose at checkout. 2nd Class is estimated to be 3-5 days and 1st Class is estimated to be 1-2 days.
UK Orders over £30 will get FREE delivery - either RM 2nd Class TRACKED (if under £150, option to upgrade to 1st Class for £2.95), RM 1st Class TRACKED (between £150 and £300) or RM Special Delivery (if over £300).
Special Delivery is Next Day Guaranteed by 1pm BUT is dependent on an item being in stock and ordered around before 3pm. Please check with us if you are unsure by emailing info@purepens.co.uk
Orders made before 3pm Monday-Friday will generally be dispatched on the same day. This is dependent on stocks - if you have a time limit, please get in touch to check stock and delivery estimates. Orders made after 3pm on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
Non-UK Delivery
Overseas orders under £25 will cost £4.99 for UNTRACKED Airmail. You can also upgrade.
Overseas orders over £25 will cost £8.99-£9.99 (depending on country) for TRACKED Airmail. You can also upgrade to a Courier service at checkout, the cost will depend on whether you are in Europe (£25) or outside (£50) - These are 'at cost' services, we do not make profit on shipping (and often loss out) Costs may be high due to the weight of glass ink bottles and insurance on expensive items.
VAT and Currency
UK customers should see prices including UK VAT on each product page. It may take a few seconds to load the Inc. and Ex. VAT prices due to how our system has to be set to work for overseas customers too. If only one price is showing, it will be the EX Vat price and may be due your IP address displaying as overseas or as a VPN.
EU CUSTOMERS WILL NOW PAY THEIR TAXES AT OUR CHECKOUT IF THE ORDER IS UNDER €150 (EX SHIPPING) THERE SHOULD BE NO EXTRA FEES TO PAY AT DELIVERY DUE TO THE IOSS SYSTEM NOW IN USE.
ORDERS OVER €150 WILL BE EXCLUDING TAX AND WILL BE ASSESSED ON ARRIVED IN YOUR DELIVERY COUNTRY BY CUSTOMS AUTHORITIES
Delayed Deliveries
For deliveries in the UK, Royal Mail suggests 1-4 working days for parcels to arrive.
For deliveries in Europe, Royal Mail suggest 7-10 working days for parcels to arrive.
For deliveries to the Rest of the World, Royal Mail suggests up to 21 working days for parcels to arrive.
If you find that your order has taken longer than the suggested delivery time, before you contact us please check with your local postal office as it may be there waiting for collection for some reason, you can generally call them and they can advise if your parcel if it is there.
In the case that your order has been returned back to us because it was left unclaimed or the delivery address was wrong or incomplete, it will be the customers' responsibility to pay for rescheduled delivery.
