Caran d'Ache was established in Geneva in 1924 and is Switzerland's only pen and pencil maker, located close to the French border just outside Geneva. Their origins hail from founder Arnold Schweitzer's purchase of the Ecridor Pencil Factory in 1915. They are today known for their stationery and luxury goods, including wallets and cufflinks.
Weighty and luxurious, the sumptuous deep lacquer of this Caran d'Ache Léman wonderfully complements the rhodium silver-plated trim. The screw fit brass cap is fully palladium coated to contrast the rest of the pen, while the rubber seal ensures an airtight seal when fitted.
