Vinta Inks Nakar 1934 (Mother of Pearl)

£13.33 GBP

'Vinta Inks are obsessively designed and meticulously mixed. Our inks are meant for fountain pen or calligraphy use.
We promise that we use the finest ingredients to make the best ink that we can.'

Mother of Pearl is also known as “nakar” in the Philippines. More fiction than fact, legends have surrounded the largest pearl, 6.38kg, ever discovered. It was said that a diver drowned retrieving the pearl in May 1934 in Palawan, Philippines. It is known as the Pearl of Allah or the Pearl of Lao-Tzu. This beautiful grey and purple ink with silver shimmer is evocative of the Philippines and its nickname as the Pearl of the Orient.
