Koh-I-Noor Hardmuth is a Czech manufacturer and one of the world's largest producers of art supplies. It was founded by Joseph Hardmuth in 1790 and taken over by his sons Karl and Ludwig in 1848.
Their pencils have been in production since 1790. At the turn of the twentieth century however, the company experienced rapid expansion, and throughout the 1900s began to considerably extend their product range. Today, Koh-I-Noor provide a whole host of stationery products, with our favourites being their graphite and coloured pencils.
